Important Notice
Lie detection services are not suitable for all individuals. Medical conditions, medications, and psychological factors may affect test reliability. Please disclose all relevant information during booking.
2. Service Description
DeceptionDetection.co.uk provides professional lie detection services using advanced EEG L300 brain wave technology and traditional polygraph testing methods.
2.1 Available Services
- EEG L300 Detection: Advanced brain wave monitoring with 95% accuracy rate
- Traditional Polygraph Testing: Conventional physiological monitoring
- Corporate Investigation Services: Employee screening and fraud investigation
- Legal Support Services: Court-admissible testing and expert testimony
- Private Testing Services: Confidential personal matter investigation
- Emergency Response Services: 24/7 urgent testing availability
2.2 Service Standards
All testing is conducted by certified professionals using medical-grade equipment in controlled environments. We maintain the highest standards of professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality.
2.3 Accuracy Statements
While our EEG L300 system achieves 95% accuracy in controlled testing environments, no lie detection method is 100% accurate. Results should be considered alongside other evidence and professional judgment.
3. Booking & Scheduling

3.3 Booking Confirmation
Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of deposit payment and signed service agreement. Confirmation includes testing details, location, and preparation instructions.
3.4 Scheduling Changes
Schedule changes must be requested at least 48 hours before the appointment. Subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Service Pricing
- EEG L300 Detection: £499 - £699 (depending on complexity)
- Traditional Polygraph: £350 - £650 (depending on requirements)
- Emergency Services: Premium rates apply (150% standard rate)
- Travel Costs: £0.50 per mile beyond 25-mile radius
- Expert Testimony: £200 per hour plus expenses
4.2 Payment Schedule
- Deposit: 50% required to confirm booking
- Balance: Due before testing commencement
- Corporate Accounts: 30-day payment terms available
4.3 Accepted Payment Methods
- Bank transfer (preferred method)

- PayPal for online payments
- Cash payments (on-site only)

4.4 Late Payment
Late payments incur a charge of 2% per month. Services may be suspended for accounts more than 30 days overdue.

- No additional charge within 25-mile radius of major cities

- Professional environment with privacy
- Modern facilities with necessary amenities
- Convenient parking and accessibility
- Room hire costs included in service fee
5.1.3 Hotel Conference Facilities
Executive meeting rooms at quality hotels:
- 4-star and above hotel properties
- Private conference and meeting rooms
- Professional business environment
- Catering facilities available if required
- Overnight accommodation can be arranged
5.1.4 Our Professional Testing Centers

5.2 Location Requirements
All testing locations must meet minimum standards:
- Private, secure environment
- Free from interruptions and distractions
- Adequate space for equipment setup
- Stable electrical supply
- Emergency access for medical situations
5.3 Travel and Setup
Our technicians arrive 30-60 minutes before testing for equipment setup and environment preparation. Travel time and setup are included in service pricing within agreed radius.
6. Client Preparation
6.1 Pre-Test Requirements
To ensure accurate results, clients must:
- Get adequate sleep (minimum 6 hours) before testing
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before testing
- Avoid recreational drugs for 72 hours before testing
- Eat a light meal 2-3 hours before testing
- Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in
- Bring valid photo identification
- Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing
6.2 Medical Disclosures
Clients must disclose:
- All current medications and supplements
- Medical conditions affecting heart rate or blood pressure
- Neurological conditions or brain injuries
- Mental health conditions or treatments
- Pregnancy status
- Recent illnesses or infections
6.3 Contraindications
Testing may not be suitable for individuals with:

Health & Safety
Testing will be postponed if the client appears unwell, intoxicated, or unable to provide informed consent. Your safety is our priority.
7. Service Limitations
7.1 Accuracy Limitations
While our technology is highly accurate, no lie detection method is infallible:

- Traditional polygraph: 80-85% accuracy rate

- False positives and negatives can occur

8. Cancellation & Refund Policy

- More than 72 hours notice: Full refund of deposit
- 48-72 hours notice: 50% refund of deposit
- 24-48 hours notice: 25% refund of deposit
- Less than 24 hours notice: No refund
- No-show: Full charges apply
8.2 Company Cancellations
If we must cancel due to:
- Equipment failure: Full refund and priority rebooking
- Examiner illness: Reschedule within 48 hours or full refund
- Force majeure: Full refund of payments made
- Safety concerns: Full refund and explanation provided
8.3 Rescheduling
Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance. One free reschedule per booking; subsequent changes incur £50 administration fee.
8.4 Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.
9. Confidentiality & Data Protection
